Community Outreach

I THRIVE and the Kintsukuroi Project aims to create community through collaboration.

I THRIVE supports survivors of trauma and mental illness with events and outreach that highlight inclusion, healing, mindfulness, and fun.

Check out a few of our past and current offerings and service projects below. 

Arts & Crafts

The Arts...

We support healing and expression through art of all kinds. We support and collaborate with community organizations supporting survivors of trauma through art therapy.

  • We are presently planning Art Therapy Donations and events for 2024.

  • In April 2019 we invited Mental Healthy Fit 501c3 (formerly Create Reel Change) to join us for our Sex Assault Survivor month segment on ABC4 News Utah.

Yoga Mates

Integrative Healing...

Our creator has offered guided meditations, yoga scholarships, and breathwork support to survivors of trauma we've served. We hope to increase access to include online resources in the future. ​

  • 2020 scholarship to Indra Yoga for one survivor of sexual violence.

  • 2020 scholarship for Upaya Yoga international yoga training.

  • Summer 2019 Samma Karuna Breathwork and meditation volunteer student support service.

Engagements & Events...

We have planned events and participated or contributed to trainings in the past. We are exploring the possibility of future community collaborations and digital events.

Volunteering Group

Local Efforts...

We continue to collaborate with community organizations to provide resources and information to assist in survivor healing, to destigmatize the survivor experience, and to keep survivors safe. 

Local community efforts have included:​

  • 2024 & 2025 offerigs and outreach to SLC Rape Recovery Center and Peace House Domestic Violence Center

  • 2023 offerings and outreach to unhoused patients at 4th Street homeless clinic

  • 2023 offerings and outreach to SLC VAMC veteran's mental health services

  • 2022, 2023 donations and outreach to SLC Rape Recovery Center

  • 2022-2023 DOPL reporting efforts to ensure survivor safety

  • 2021 Community Mental Health outreach and efforts in support of survivor of trauma

  • 2019 application resources provided to Universtiy of Utah Adult Psychiatry Global Mental Health Track to attend the U.N. Civil Society Conference as hosted in SLC Aug, 2019

We aim to build our platform and online portfolio of resources, outreach, and intervention to extend our service to as many survivors of illness and trauma possible.

  • Toward this effort we additionally aim to inspire post-traumatic growth and resilience in the survivors of trauma and illness we serve.

  • We are open to community and international collaborations with other service efforts or organizations serving survivors of trauma or involved in Integrative healing, digital media, and photography.
